Our Mission

Blossom Health Foundation was founded by a registered nurse and wound care specialist Familiah (Fami) Mavima after a life-changing experience in Zimbabwe, where she witnessed firsthand the impact of limited access to essential healthcare while caring for her mother, who was suffering from complications of an untreated diabetic ulcer. What should have been a manageable condition led to her passing due to a lack of basic medical resources.

Why We Exist

Today, we bridge that gap by collecting and redistributing medical supplies and equipment, including essential wound care supplies from healthcare organizations and individuals in the community. These resources are directed to underserved communities locally and across Africa.

Through this work, we improve access to care, support frontline providers, and restore dignity to those in need.
